Grayson is a stunning mixed breed who looks gray or brown depending on the lighting. He is just over a year old, potty trained, and crate trained. Grayson is a very special dog who will need the perfect family to take him in. We’re not 100% sure where his trauma comes from but he is healing. He is not aggressive whatsoever but he is very timid and shy. He came to his current foster hand shy, not wanting to be pet, and with zero leash skills. In the few weeks his foster has had him, he accepts pets 95% of the time, walks well on a leash, and hangs out with the family. He has already come such a long way and will need a very patient and supportive human counterpart to continue to bring him out of his shell.

Grayson lives for walks. Whether it’s five minutes or two hours it really doesn’t matter to him! Unlike most dogs, his safe space isn’t a room or a crate but rather, another dog. He plays well with them but really utilizes them to build his trust and confidence. He would be a great addition to any home with another dog who can continue to teach him that being a dog is actually really awesome!
